Delighted Loveday is so much better. Athough they lease a place to rehearse from 29th the company will not be needed till the end of the week - they give a fortnight? There will be plenty to do with Miss Matthison, Miss Fealy & one or two others in meantime. Laurence & his wife are there for a couple of days, staying close by. Love to Mrs Loveday. |

Thanks for letter. He will be delighted to appear at Drury Lane for five or six weeks from the next Easter - more if possible - and will ask Bram Stoker to make an appointment one day the next week to talk things over if Collins is in town. Irving would endorse anything Collins might like to say to his directors and he believes it would be a succesful and attractive engagement with a repertory programme. (Postscript:) He should be back on Saturday. |

Content Summary: |
The play seems very charming & Wyndham read it with pleasure. He wonders if his tender years justify his selection for a man evidently reaching maturity. He has been abroad for the last 10 days and only received post en bloc the day before. He is travelling about rehearsing companies he is interested in. Write to the New Theatre in London. |

The play is unidentified nor is it known if it was suggested for Wyndham, or if he and Irving contemplated acting together. |
