Content Summary: He would have called that morning but had to catch the 9 am train. If he can will see her on Friday or Saturday ; if not the fault is not his. Her mother has written to him about the legality of marrying in the name Irving. His solicitor says the licence must be in the name of Brodribb. If they have children he hopes they can be called Irving. He is rehearsing and tired. He must send letters to her mother and [Christopher] Bradshaw with a polite request for the 15th. Toole will be with them. He hopes the day will come when there are no more reproaches from her and misunderstandings from him. On Sunday he thought her manner insurmountably cold. Does she still love him as she did? Answer this.
