He does not wish to leave without thanking Irving for the artistic pleasure he has enjoyed - Ellen Terry with Irving in 'Charles I' and 'King Arthur', where the scene at the king's feet was first class, but 'The Lyons Mail' particularly delighted him with the impersonations of Lesurques and Dubosc, one of the best scenic realisations he has met, with such an admirable and tragic denoument, with unforgettable staging.
