Content Summary: He has had a letter from Mme Janauscheck setting out her financial plight, of which he gives details. English actors now in the city might combine to give a benefit and Bellew would participate. Recent comment was about the English in America taking large salaries home, but he has not seen the Americans helping Mme Janauscheck, and the English might contribute. Prominent managers should arrange details. He would do an Act of 'Raffles'. English players only. Would Irving cooperate?
