Content Summary: Please read the enclosed 2 notes. She has no influence over No.1 which arrived the previous night. Lady Sarah Lindsay, an old friend and Bed Chamber Woman to the Queen asked to send on her letter. She also knows slightly the poor Marchioness of Devonshire. Whatever Irving decides to do he had better communicate with Lady Sarah unless he prefers the Baroness acting for him. He would have been pleased to hear the day before Lady Beresford say how differently from other theatres people looked on the Lyceum, and Sir James Laister was struck with the "refined" look of Irving's audience.
