'The Cup' plays well and had naturally improved since the first night. The temple scene surpasses all earlier staging.They were gratified that Irving had transported the Macmillan article to his Bill. He thought, as Irving did, it was a fine piece of criticism. Will Irving visit them on the first Sunday he is free? He was glad to see how the audience stayed for the CB which is better than ever. |
