Content Summary: He encloses the very full scenario of Act I and the new act suggested the other night by Irving. The 5th Act scenario he read to Irving then, consisting mainly of action, is also very full. The three intervening acts could be amplified, but with Jubilee distractions, etc., not before he leaves England on 2nd July. Unless Irving makes arrangements on the present basis it will have to wait until his return from holiday, during which he had hoped to work on the actual writing. As for terms, they have agreed they would prefer the usual percentage on gross receipts. They ask for £250 as an advance. Personally he asks for the matter to be settled quickly.
