| Content Summary: |
They write about Irving as Charles I. The photographs they have of him are much liked. Since the prohibition through Irving's solicitor of the sale they have repeatedly refused to supply them but a client is so importunate that they have agreed to ask Irving if anything can be done. Could they make a drawing in colour or monochrome of the photographs remedying any defects indicated by Irving? They have skilled artists and would submit anything for Irving's approval before reproduction. They send the photographs and beg a favorable reply. (Postscript:) They hope he will not be offended if they say they are sorry to hear of his illness and hope for more favourable reports. |
