Date: [1899], [Apri]l, [16]
Document Type: Letter (3 p.)
Content Summary: There has been a stupid mistake about the Sunday papers which have no advertisements ... Tell them in future to show Irving advt. list which he will supervise - in fact it is Stoker who ought to make out advts for which Irving is responsible for the biggest share. He thought it was understood that Stoker should look it over. As it is they have now destroyed any notices in papers with a big circulation - one omitting to notice the play at all. He hopes Stoker is all right and not tired out.
Published: L. Irving, p.626 (as 4th April).
Notes: Dated in pencil by Stoker. 'Robespierre' opened on 15th April 1899. The letter lists the papers concerned. A typewritten transcript is in THM/37/1/56.
