Address: -
Date: 1899(?), July, 5
Document Type: Letter (5 p.)
Content Summary: It would be good if Eylesbach & Greet would take theatre off hands, but other alternative acceptable. Before anything settled Stoker should see Irving and settle tours. Irving might produce 'Robespierre' in London for two months (Sept. & Oct.) and include it in American repertoire. There are too many contingencies to set down - it would be good to leave London with a bang, and a mistake to fizzle out as they did the last season even for two months. July is no good anywhere, and they should begin work again at beginning of Sept. He agrees Scotland might be good again before going to new places, but not in July, or at prices like Cardiff's. (Postscript:) Cheque & bills enclosed.
Published: -
Notes: 'Robespierre' was not produced in London in September & October before the American tour.
