Perhaps this could be at Haslemere where they expect to be the next month and hope to persuade Irving to visit them on a fine Sunday. His father feels so many alterations are necessary to fit 'Becket' for the stage he would rather not publish it first and would rather that the alterations be made for Irving and under his guidance rather than that of another.
