Learn from Ellen Terry the first Wednesday she can act with him. If on 15th October he will announce 'Hamlet'. Tell her about 'The Gamester'. Rehearsals to begin on 6th or 8th Sept. Everybody [word] perfect by 13th. Do the farces until his return. Engage Miss Ewell for 3 months for 'The Boarding School'. Wants everything ready for 'The Iron Chest' by 13th. He will rehearse it in the evening. Encloses an advertisement. Sorry about Miss Ward. Love to Loveday. If he sees Ellen Terry give her the enclosed [unspecified]. He will be glad to get back.
