She does not regret the Jersey mishap as she revisited places filled with happy memories. She does not know what she would have done without their kind friend Mr Bartlett, and what a comfort Irving's two last letters were, full of affection for Mrs Brown. Her young party has gone to see the town. Mrs Gordon & Mr Bartlett go to breakfast with the King & Queen. They have been so good and sympathetic, and she would not be so near (an hour) and not pay her respects. The Walrus will lay off Gravesend. Send word if he comes ...
