Content Summary: He cannot regret Irving's decision. It would have been wrong to sell the old place, and their friendly relations would have ceased. He thinks it best to cancel the existing lease and let Irving have one for 21 years from the next August. When he hears from Irving, and whether he wishes to have the other listed houses when he can get them, and about the Inventory he will have draft leases prepared. (Postscript:) He has just been shown a paragraph saying Irving had bought the theatre. How does such news get out?
