Notes: On 'Charles I'. This is the document sent for the Revd Freeman Wills to Irving on 16/02/1893. Mrs Bateman died in 1881, so this must represent an earlier copy, perhaps from an 1878 agreement.

Content Summary: He is happy with Stoker's letter and thanks Irving for his liberal offer, believing his share modest in the success Irving's genius has created in his Shakespeare productions. He is proud to be associated with such an artist. Forgive any shortcomings as he hopes to do better for some future production, not requiring extra instrumentation. He is indebted to Irving for his Concert and thanks Stoker for unfailing kindness.
