| Notes: |
A Christmas card depicting a woman descending stairs, holding a gold goblet. Also preserved (fol.23-24) is a small ink drawing, probably of Irving as Digby Grant in 'Two Roses', dated in pencil 15th August 1882 with an envelope addressed to Master George Lewis, postmarked December '82. It is not certain if both card and drawing were originally in this envelope, but the card appears to be addressed to Mrs Lewis. |
