Content Summary: He regrets he guessed correctly that Stoker had countermanded his chosen scene from 'Faust'. Unless the illustrations reflect productions at the various theatres they have no point. He particularly objects to the 'Circus' meant to portray Drury Lane - it is more like an equestrian entertainment. If Stoker refuses to select an appropriate scene from any opera he asks for a blank page as he does not wish to be prevented from joining a project both illustrating their theatrical work and expressing his loyalty and devotion to the Queen.
