Date: 1876, March, 13
Document Type: Letter
Content Summary: Her letter must be kindly intended and he thanks her. She always has his kindest wishes and he will help her if he can, but they will always keep the path they have chosen. He wrote this some time ago and now is compelled to repeat it. He will do anything to add to her comfort, and whenever she asks him to provide for the children's education he is ready and anxious to do so. He has no notion of leaving England. His engagements there are complete for the next two years and will be carried out if nothing unforeseen occurs. Goodbye and may God keep her.
