Notes: With a stamped addressed envelope postmarked MY 29 94. The matinee was the first performance of Pearl Craigie's one act play 'Journeys end in lovers meeting', performed by Ellen Terry, Johnson Forbes-Robertson and William Terriss. The play was afterwards performed at the Lyceum and on the American tour.

Notes: 'The Nineteenth Century' vol. 27, p.1040-58 contains 3 articles on actor-managers, the first a long historical survey by Bram Stoker, with shorter contributions by Irving and Charles Wyndham. Letter 7351 reveals that all the major London actor managers had been sounded by Stoker about contributions. See also Letters 7352-53.
