Content Summary: Stoker will have heard from Loveday of Irving's progress. Rapid improvement. Rose on Saturday afternoon and while up Lord Kelvin arrived and had a chat. Before he left Mr Gilbert came from Edinburgh and stayed to dinner. None the worse and up till 10. Loveday spent the day before with him. That day he rose at noon and feels better. It is too cold to go out, so in till Weds. Dr Middleton, Walter & Hurst have gone to 'Faust' that night. Irving wishes her to remain for a bit. She hopes Stoker feels none the worse for his hurried visit and midnight travelling. Mr Mudie called the day before.
