Content Summary: Greeting and welcome home. Irving will be grieved to know that her husband died in Adelaide on 7th July. She is staying there with her children and working for them: Malcolm 17, Kenneth 14 and Jean 11. She found God in Australia. She returned alone on October 6th and began a six weeks' tour on 7th. She is singing and gladly offers to perform at the Theatrical Fund Dinner on May 31st. She rejoices at Irving's success.

Content Summary: Congratulations. Twice when he has written about charity for members of his profession Irving has sent immediate kind assistance, and he has had seats at the Lyceum although his journalism is sporting rather than theatrical. That aside he congratulates Irving as an old scholar at Mr Pinches' after Irving, but his brothers were before him. He was also fellow scholar with Leopold Lewis in France and knows how good Irving was to him. His nephew C.A. Smith the cricketer has joined the theatrical profession and is playing in 'The Notorious Mrs Ebbsmith'.
