Content Summary: He supposes there will be no difficulty in having rehearsals at Lyceum for 2 hours a day from 31st to 4 September inclusive at 11 o'clock. Loveday can arrange for the week following. Has Stoker heard from him? He was away very ill. Irving supposes they will all gather on Monday 31st - Loveday, Barnett (?), Allen &c. - in their rooms at Lyceum. Is Fillery packing up? When Robertson's people are in full swing there will be not much chance and they will need the entire stage. He hopes Stoker is having good time.

Notes: Irving had let the Lyceum for Forbes Robertson's 'Hamlet' but needed to rehearse before going on tour. Stoker notes in the margin that Barnett was told on 21/8/97. Backstage staff: Harry Loveday, stage manager, Harry Kemble Barnett assistant stage manager, sometimes prompter, Jimmy (James H.) Allen prompter, and Fillery the Lyceum machinist..
