Recipient: Irving, Sir Henry >>
Address: -
Date: 1902, Dec., 27
Document Type: Letter (3 p.)
Content Summary: Probyn has shown Irving's letter to the King and by command of His Majesty writes to say he knows that Irving has never given an interview to anyone about his visit to Sandringham and that the King knows he would be one of the last to do this. The whole story is false. His Majesty says truth is not a commodity the American press often think about and His Majesty therefore hopes Irving will deal with contempt the lying twaddle which has been published in America.
