Content Summary: Has had a notice of A[ctors'] B[enevolent] F[und] Dinner and instead of filling form sends a donation, and if the Secretary sends a ticket he will come and hear Irving speak. He has just seen in Anne Thackeray's preface to 'A Week in a French Country House' the story of [Adelaide] Sartoris prophesying about Irving after seeing him in 'Hunted Down'. Sturgis can remember those days too and the Queens Theatre where he played the young cad Bob Gassett and other parts.
