Delighted to hear Saturday went well. Tried to secure places but failed. What is happening about 'Coriolanus'? Drawings will be finished by beginning of September. Has worked himself 'blunt and blind' on them and has a small picture to finish. Architect is making drawings of scenes and is making perspective outlines of columns and buildings from Tadema's sketches. He is busy for 4 to 6 months at £5 a week so Irving is not neglected altogether. |

'Coriolanus' was not produced at the Lyceum until 1901 when Alma Tadema was the designer. |
