Content Summary: He has at last pitched his tent-bedstead. After agonies of doubt and despair he took some empty rooms and is fitting them up. He is finding it quite exciting. The attendance is admirable and a great comfort. He will be bold like Cromwell, to suggest that instead of studs she give him an easy chair or a lounge? Not a usual remembrance but they'll invent a new method. He wishes he had known she was at the Lyceum on Saturday. Was it an influence? He thought he acted better despite a dull audience. She should not have gone alone.
