[Santley?] and we hope for Sir John T[enniel] and I'm writing now to Bernard P [Partridge] if you will kindly post the letter. Could you suggest anybody else that could be happy with us all? Notes: At top of first page 'Accepted' in another hand. After King Edward VII's recovery from illness, the coronation, which Irving attended, was delayed until August 9th. This letter is likely to be to Abbey as he is not listed; his reply is Letter 44. Tenniel's acceptance is Letter 2904, and Partridge's Letter 1960.
